Alex Christensen was born on April 7 1967 in Wilhelmsburg, Hamburg, Germany, or Alex C. as he is known, is a German dance music composer, producer, and DJ. Alex C. formed the dance music project U96. He collaborates frequently with Yasmin Knock whom he met as a judge on the second season of Popstars.

Christensen represented Germany at the Final of the 2009 Eurovision Song Contest in Moscow together with Oscar Loya, performing the song "Miss Kiss Kiss Bang" finishing in 20th place.
